A big town with a small, dense middle
Killingly is a big town with a small dense middle. Danielson borough packs houses close along the Five Mile River, mostly older stock with painted clapboard, vinyl laid over clapboard, and porches that have seen a hundred winters. Push out toward Dayville, East Killingly, and the roads off Route 12 and the lots open up again.
Borough work is about access more than anything. Six feet between houses means we plan hose runs, cover what needs covering, and rinse both sides of the property line before we leave. Older siding gets low pressure and a plant-safe detergent, never a pressure wand.
Out on the rural end the calls are usually roof and gutter, because tree cover does what tree cover does. Killingly is a short run for us either way, so scheduling is easy. Text two or three photos to (860) 553-9326 for a flat quote.
The prices are published, not invented on your doorstep. A single-story cape or ranch starts at $389, a two-story colonial runs $475 to $575, and a driveway falls between $150 and $400 depending on size and staining. You see the number before the date is booked.
