Pressure Washing in Kent County, RI

Kent County is the outer edge of what we can reach. Our shop is in Pomfret, CT, and East Greenwich is about fifty minutes out. We take Kent County work by request rather than on a route, mostly for repeat customers, referrals, and jobs big enough to be worth the drive. If a closer crew makes more sense for you, we will say so.

The work itself is the same work we do at home. House washing is a soft wash, meaning a biodegradable, plant-safe detergent does the cleaning and the rinse pressure stays low. Vinyl, cedar, fiber-cement, brick, and painted clapboard each get a different dilution. Siding never gets a pressure washer, and neither does a roof.

Kent County has two different problems depending on where you sit. Down along Greenwich Bay and the Warwick line, salt air keeps siding damp and feeds algae on the shaded elevations. Out in West Greenwich and Coventry it is tree cover, and mature oak and pine over a roof will green the north slope fast and drop enough leaves and needles to pack a gutter twice each fall. The fix is the same either way: get the growth off before it sets in, and keep water moving off the roof.
