Foster has fewer people per square mile than anywhere else in Rhode Island, and the work here reflects that. Driveways run a few hundred feet off Route 6 or Route 94. Houses sit back behind stone wall and hedgerow. A lot of properties have a barn, a shed, or a detached garage that has not been touched in years.

Two things matter out here. The first is water. Many Foster homes are on a well, so we bring what we need and we are careful about where the rinse goes. Landscaping gets wet down before we start and rinsed again after, and the detergents are biodegradable and plant-safe. The second is access. Long dirt and gravel drives mean we plan truck placement before a hose comes off the reel.
