Madison works on a summer calendar
Madison runs along Long Island Sound with Hammonasset at the eastern end, the Green and the older village in the middle, and Route 1 and Route 79 carrying the traffic. The shoreline neighborhoods mix year round houses with summer places, and the East and Neck Rivers bring marsh in behind them.
Timing is the thing here. Most owners want the outside done before the season opens and again once it closes, and rentals get scheduled around turnover. We can work from photos and a gate or lockbox code, so nobody has to drive down to meet us.
Sand is the local nuisance. It tracks onto patios, walkways, and outdoor showers all summer and grinds into the surface. Concrete, bluestone, and pavers all clean up with a surface cleaner, which levels the whole area instead of striping it.
Salt air keeps siding damp, so shingle and clapboard green up faster here than inland. Those get low pressure and a plant safe detergent, and we rinse the salt film off while we are at it.
Madison sits well down the shoreline from us, so it is a by request town. Text photos to (860) 553-9326 for a flat price and an honest scheduling answer.
