Pressure washing in Hopkinton, MA

Most people know Hopkinton for one morning in April, but the rest of the year it is a town of large newer neighborhoods, older houses near the common, and a lot of protected water. Lake Whitehall and the state park sit on the west side, Route 85 and Route 135 cross in the center, and I-495 runs along the eastern edge.

The newer construction drives the work. Wide decks, pool surrounds, stamped concrete, and long expanses of vinyl and fiber cement siding. Deck boards on the shaded side go slick, pool concrete picks up film and algae at the edges, and a surface cleaner is the only way to get a large slab looking even end to end.

Siding on a house that size is a soft wash job. A wand leaves lap marks across a hundred feet of wall, so the detergent does the cleaning and the rinse stays gentle.

Timing matters here more than in most towns. Spring fills up early, and the roads near the start line are their own consideration in April.
